Search the journal Science

Science is a peer-reviewed journal of original scientific research, global news, and commentary, published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). To browse or search this journal, you will need to use the following instructions:

There is no online access to articles in Science published after 2005. If you want to access the most recent issues of Science, you will need to come to the Barber Library or contact a librarian.

Click the link below to see the available date ranges for Science in the Barber Library's physical collection. 
If you want to access Science online, the Barber Library only has full-text access online to issues published between 1983 and 2005. To search for issues in this date range, use the instructions below. 

Click the above link and, in the new window that appears, click the link that says: "COCC Students - Connect to this resource online: Gale Cengage Academic OneFile" (next to the arrow in the image below)

After clicking that link, if you're logging on from home, you will be asked to sign in with your COCC email and COCC email password. In the new window, you will be able to browse articles by year (next to the arrow in the image below). Note: You will be able to search articles that appear in newer issues, but you will only find abstracts. To read the full text of newer articles, you will need to come to the Barber Library or contact a librarian
