Search the journal Nature

Nature is a weekly international journal publishing the finest peer-reviewed research in all fields of science and technology. To browse or search this journal, you will need to use the following instructions:

There is no online access to articles in Nature published in the most recent year. If you want to access the most recent issues of Nature, you will need to come to the Barber Library or contact a librarian.

Click the link below to see the available date ranges for Nature in the Barber Library's physical collection. 
If you want to access Nature online, the Barber Library only has full-text access online to issues published before the most recent year and after 1997. To search for issues in this date range, use the instructions below. 

In the new window that appears, if you want to search for issues between 1997 and 2015, click the link that says: "COCC Students - Connect to this resource online: EBSCOhost Academic Search Premier" 

If you want to search for issues after 2000, excluding the most recent year, click on the link that says: "COCC Students - Connect to this resource online: Gale Cengage Academic OneFile"

Search Nature online via Gale or Ebsco

If you're logging on from home, you will be asked to sign in with your COCC email and COCC email password. In the new window, you will be able to browse articles that appear in older issues by selecting the specific year you're looking for. Note: You will be able to search articles that appear in newer issues, but you will only find abstracts.  

To search for certain topics across all issues of this journal, type your keywords in the search bar or click "Search within this publication."
