COCC Barber Library subscribes to The Wall Street Jounal!
This means all staff, students and faculty at COCC can register for accounts to get unlimited access to articles online and through the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) app.
Once a year, staff and faculty will need to verify their continued affiliation with COCC to renew access.
Note: If you already have a paid subscription associated with your COCC email address, you may get an error in the registration process. You will need to cancel your paid account first before registering via the Library-sponsored subscription.
Faculty and Staff: Your access needs to be refreshed every year to confirm continued affiliation with COCC.
You'll receive an email seven days prior to the refresh date. Click "refresh membership" in this email to renew access.
This email may get caught in COCC's email filters. Check your "held emails" notifications or log in to the Mimecast portal directly to find it. The subject line will be "Action Needed: Refresh Your Access."
Students: When you create an account, you'll be asked to enter your graduation date. Your account will automatically expire 90 days after that graduation date.
If you remain a student after your estimated graduation date and/or you return to COCC after an absence, you will need to contact the Wall Street Journal customer support team at 1-800-JOURNAL or academicsupport@dowjones.com to reactivate your account.
The WSJ app is available for Apple (iOS) and Android devices.
We also get The Wall Street Journal in print. You'll find the current issue and a month's worth of back issues in the newspaper area of the Barber Library.
The Wall Journal online access covers the most recent 4 years. If you need an older article, submit an Interlibrary Loan request to get it delivered online from another library within 72 hours.
